Decide what you want, then stick with it until you reach your goal!

Good Evening!

What a great weekend. I was able to spend some quality time with my son Lucas over the weekend and he is almost one already!

I weighed my self this afternoon and I was 218lbs, very exciting. I am keeping focused, mentally and physically, and keep challenging my body and my mind. When I think I have to stop…I do not. When I feel like it’s enough, I keep going… Successful people don’t quit. Most people do not put all the eff

Last night I was tempted by many dishes food at a restaurant. I knew I had to stick to my food plan to reach my goal. What helped was thinking about how every single thing that is not good for me that I take in my body, will only inhibit me from what I want and how I want to continue to feel…..it really works!

100% of what you do is mental….including your continued weight loss and maintance.

Today at the gym I kept it a cardio and ab’s day. Very intense cardio on a stair master (steps) for 35 minutes. The workout wasn’t easy. The sequence I used was unique. Rather than measuring the intensity by my heart rate, as I usually do I decided to change up the pace. For every 100 calories I burned, I increased the level by (1). By the time 35 minutes reached(my mini-goal for the cardio session) I was drenched in sweat and I had lost 450 calories! After I stepped off I felt great! Then some ab work, only 4 sets with perfect form. I did lower ab’s very intense by hanging from a bar with my elbows in place and lifting my legs straight up. WOW!

I want you to stay focused and keep your self in the ‘moment’ during the workout.

Decide what you want, then stick with it, never deviate until you have accomplished it. That translates in your weight loss goal, muscle gain or just general toning. Do not be the person that wants to be successfull with their bodies and the way they feel, but do not want to do what successful people have done to reach those goals!
Have a great night!

P.S. I figured out what really motivates me….it’s my 1) My family and children 2) to feel the great feeling that I am taking care of my self, my body, my mind, naturally and healthfully.

I am attatching some pictures of my self in 2007 that may suprise you. These pictures are motivation to ‘toward’ something that I know I can achieve. Not relizing it, over a year in a half later I gained almost 100 lbs, just by eating unhealthfully and not exercising. I was shameful, embarresed and kept negative thoughts desructing me even more. I decided to change my life less than 3 months ago and finally really take care of my self, for me. 57lbs later…I cannot explain the amazing feeling that it brings you..

I want you to find a picture of either what you ‘want’ to look like, or a picture of your self that you have when you were in your best shape….put it every where you can! This will be the best thing you can for your self this week. You can email me with questions at reshapegetfit@gmail.com
