Hello and happy 4th!
What a great day to celebrate independence and freedom in our country. Here in Fairfield County the weather is great and I am ready for some fireworks with my kids!
So here the is story. If you have not been up date with the fat burning enemy, then here is the scoop..
You cannot burn fat and drink alcohol at the same time. It just cannot happen.
TRUST ME!
But I get it, we are human and you may consume some type or form of alcohol in today or in the next 3 months. (I still do not endorse it!)
Here are the facts first..
Alcohol and weight loss are closely related. One of the first things I did when I starting losing weight was to give up all sugar in my diet and that included any wine or alcohol. Completely. (Well, other than maybe a drink on my cheat day.)
When it comes to alcohol, the choice to stop drinking it is not that easy because most people really like alcohol. They associate it with fun times, and need to get a bit high to have fun on a date, or when out with friends.
If you must, you can try light beers, or spirits. With spirits, the hangovers are worse, but you don’t get as many carbs. When having mixers, make sure to have Diet sodas and not regular. (this is VERY important!)

Here’s a few examples to help you understand just how many calories you’re gaining when you have that beer.

Let’s break this down…
With almost all drinks, it will take you an hour on the elliptical to burn off all the calories in just 1 drink.
If you can’t stop drinking, at least try to cut down. If your goal is fat loss, limit all sugars from your diet, including alcohol. If you MUST HAVE it, put it on a cheat day/meal like you are able to on the Reshape Your Fat Loss, Supercharged 2.0 Program
